What are you most excited about stepping into your new role?
A: I’m looking forward to using the knowledge I have gained in the industry to provide customer service to the trade, many of whom I already know. It’s been so lovely to catch up with several pool peeps already.

What did you want to be when you were younger?
A: When I was young, I loved art and animals and always imagined myself living off-grid and being close to nature. I loved sci-fi and fantasy books, my Commodore 64 and camping and fishing.

What product do you think changes the life of a pool owner?
A: I’m really exited about some of the automation available for pool owners. Chemistry monitoring, dosing, smart robots and chlorine alternatives.

As things are slowing down, what advice would you give to customers as we start to head into the off season?
A: Get your ducks in a row, test and trial new products and be ready to launch at top speed as the season begins. Smart pool owners will take the opportunity to upgrade their systems during the quieter periods too, so it’s a great time to communicate with and educate your customers and take the time to sell those big ticket items.

What can customers expect from Pool Systems this year?
A: I can’t speak for the whole company, but I can promise our Dandenong customers that they will have a friendly face and someone who genuinely cares to look after them.

Anything else you would like to add?
A: I think it’s really important to not take myself too seriously, I can always find a funny angle and absolutely love to have a big laugh and warm relationship with my colleagues and customers.
