RENEE MAGOULIAS
This month, we are getting to know Renee Magoulias, Our customer Service Team Leader in our NSW Branch.
Can you tell us about yourself and your role here at Pool Systems?
A: Hi, my name is Renee and I’m part of the customer service team, as team leader in Sydney. I started when the company was called Niagara Pool Supplies which later became Pool Systems and have been here for almost 15 years!
What did you want to be when you were younger?
A: When I was young, I thought about being a school teacher.
What do you enjoy most about working in Customer Service?
A: Every day is different, I enjoy interacting with the customers and knowing who they are. I still remember most of the spare parts from the old blue Niagara bible.
What is one common question that you get from customers- and your go-to advice?
A: Hey Renee, what’s this? Most items I know, if not, there is only one thing to do, let me check the bible.
What product or products would you recommend for customers to stock up on for winter?
A: Madimack heat pumps, who doesn’t like to keep the pool and spas warm!
Anything else you would like to add?
A: Working at Pool Systems, I have enjoyed working in different roles and have learnt a lot. Sydney team are a pleasure to work with and so are our customers. We are excited to have changes coming including a new trade counter, looking forward to seeing our customers soon in the new trade counter area! Next time you drop in, come say hi to me upstairs!

MELBOURNE TRADE DAY
On the 14th of May, our Melbourne team hosted their very first Trade Day — and what an incredible day it was!
The event brought together a fantastic crowd and featured some of our top suppliers including Aiper, Spa Electrics, Lochlor, Madimack, Evo Heat, and Palintest. With unbeatable deals, great conversations, and hands-on product insights, it was a brilliant way to connect with our customers.
It also marked the official launch of our brand-new trade counter — and what better way to introduce it than with a celebration? The team went above and beyond, putting on a delicious lunch for everyone.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and the success of the day has set the bar high. One thing’s certain — this won’t be the last!

BRENDALE TRADE DAY
While Melbourne was buzzing with a fantastic trade day, our Brendale branch also hosted a successful event of its own!
We were thrilled to welcome suppliers from Spa Electrics, Lo-Chlor, Daisy Pool Covers, Evo Heat, and Madimack.
Customers made the most of the exclusive trade day specials, and it was a great opportunity for them to connect directly with our suppliers.
Our giveaway prize on the day was two tickets to the State of Origin — and the lucky winner was Russel Watson from Waterama. Congratulations, and we hope you enjoyed the game!
