CAMERON SLEE
This month, we are getting to know Cameron Slee who works in our warranties department.
Can you tell us about yourself and your role here at Pool Systems?
A: I help retailers and their customers undergo the manufacturer’s warranty process trying to make it as quick and seamless as possible.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
A: I went through phases as a kid where I wanted to be an EMT or an electrician. Only when I got my first job at Swimart did I find this industry was somewhere I wanted to be.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
A: Overall, I do really enjoy helping people and working as a problem solver which I find I must do a lot in my role. Love it when a plan comes together.
What is the best piece of advice you can give to customers?
A: Futureproof your system! Look into your options and ask what you can do if things go wrong.
A product you would recommend?
A: Personally, I’m a really big fan of AIS Chlorinators – Specifically the Autochlor line.

DAVE AND DEB PEARCE
It’s a bittersweet moment for the Pool Systems team as we farewell a much-loved and respected member of our Brendale branch, Deb Pearce as she begins a new chapter.
Deb officially retired on the 26th of June after 20 incredible years with us. Since joining in 2004, she has been a cornerstone of our customer service team – known for her warmth, dedication, and unwavering commitment to supporting both customers and colleagues.
Dave, who came on board in 2007, is stepping away from his role as National Support and Training Manager to take a well-deserved three-month break. While he’s retiring from this role, we’re excited to welcome him back at the end of September in a part-time position at our trade counter.
We’re incredibly grateful for everything Dave and Deb have brought to Pool Systems over the years. Their knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care have made a lasting impact. While their daily presence will be missed, we wish Deb all the best in retirement and look forward to having Dave back in a new capacity later this year.
THE AIPER TRADE DAYS HAVE KICKED OFF
Our first round of Aiper Trade Days kicked off last Wednesday at our Seventeen Mile Rocks branch, followed by North Brisbane on Friday, Sydney on Monday and Melbourne today.
So far, it’s been a great opportunity, giving customers the chance to get hands-on with the product, chat directly with the Aiper team, and explore what’s on offer for the upcoming season.
The trade event wraps up this week with a final stop in Adelaide on Friday. If you’re in the area, be sure to come by!
NEW LOOK FOR OUR NORTH BRISBANE TRADE COUNTER
We’re excited to share that our North Brisbane branch has officially opened a brand new and improved Trade Counter – designed with you in mind!
Our dedicated warehouse and operations team have put in countless hours to bring this space to life, creating a more convenient and customer-friendly experience. You can now browse a wider range of products on display, explore the aisles at your own pace, and easily find everything you need to get the job done.

TEAM MOVEMENTS
Bryan Shorrock
We’re excited to announce that Bryan Shorrock has officially stepped into the role of Sales Centre Manager at our North Brisbane branch!
Many of you will already know Bryan from his time as our Business Development Representative, supporting customers from North Brisbane all the way up to Cairns. With his industry knowledge, dedication, and customer-first approach, Bryan has built strong relationships across the region.
We’re excited to see Bryan bring his experience and leadership to the North Brisbane team and look forward to watching him thrive in this new chapter.
Emily Woods
We’re pleased to share that Emily Woods is now our Business Development Representative for North Brisbane and Central QLD.
Emily started with the Brendale Customer Service team in 2021 and has been a familiar face to many of our customers. She moved into Inside Sales last year and has continued to build strong relationships and support the team.
Over the next few weeks, Emily will be out visiting customers in her new role—make sure to say hi and congratulate her when she stops by!

NSW BRANCH UPDATE
It’s been an exciting month for NSW as we make changes to our trade counter. The trade counter will soon display more products, demonstrating a larger range, geared up to support a click and collect service powered by our new Pool360.au ordering portal. We will also introduce grab and go for everyday essentials for our local service and store customers.
We also have celebrated an important milestone at our Sydney branch this month with the long service of our Customer Service Team Leader, Renee, having been part of the formerly Niagara and now Pool Systems business for 15 YEARS!
Renee is a pilar of our team and operations at our branch, most customers will know her as a product and spare parts interpreter, but we know her to be a fiercely loyal, supportive and helpful coworker and friend. Please help us in congratulating Renee!
